If you go through the voting site at Xbox. It wont be monthly releases, the games will now become available once the publisher gives the permission. By what I can gather from the news article it looks like Microsoft has or is still in the process of testing 360 games and once they get permission from the games publisher Microsoft will make the game available on the Xbox One. The games were not officially authorized to become backward compatible to play YET.
A few backward compatible Xbox 360 games were playable on the Xbox One but were taken down or rendered unplayable on line.
